A Series on Substance Abuse and Recovery within Families

A four-part series offering speakers and discussions on multiple aspects of alcohol and drugs abuse. We want to help you learn more about this growing epidemic that effects nearly one in two families and provide information in dealing with the emotional issues that impacts the family. Join us for Healing in Hope. Hope in Healing.

Sundays, September 11, 18, 25 and October 2

If you just want to more learn about this issue, or you want to lend your strength and support to others, or you are overcoming addiction and can offer your experience and hope, or you or a family member is experiencing the pain of substance abuse and need help, whatever your situation, this series is for you.

September 11 – Hear from people of faith who have suffered from the pain caused by substance abuse. Discussion to follow.

September 18 – Hear from doctors and other health professionals who have studied and worked with substance abusers and families. Q & A to follow.

September 25 – Hear from a family who are recovering share their experience and hope. Discussion to follow.

October 2 – This final night we will wrap up the series and you will have the opportunity to talk to various groups, programs, facilities, and organizations that focus on addiction and substance abuse solutions.

Registration is suggested (required if you need childcare and if you would like a light meal). You are welcome to come to all or some of the meetings.

There is NO COST to attend however a light meal is available at $15 per person per meeting. (NOTE: We regret that a light meal will no longer be available. Thank you for your understanding.)
